Also housed at the Chamber is the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau, which assists planners with upcoming conventions, conferences and meetings. The LCVB secures lodging facilities for business meetings and conventions, provides promotional materials and welcome packets.

The mission of Economic Development Partnership is to stimulate the growth and expansion of our existing industrial base and to conduct an aggressive national recruitment effort aimed at attracting new industry and jobs to the City of Lufkin and Angelina County. Personal Property Tax:
Every business must render to the appraisal district between January 1 and April 15 each year. Render means business owners are giving the appraisal district information about personal property which is used to produce income such as; automobile, furniture, fixtures, machinery, equipment and inventory on hand January 1.
